Wallyball history

Wallyball, an off-the-wall volleyball game (known in some places as reaction volleyball) was invented by Joe Garcia in 1979 and was originally called ‘ricochet ball’. The word wallyball is a combination of two words: wall and volleyball. Because Wallyball is very similar to volleyball. Except that wallyball is played indoors on a racquetball court.

Wallyball is a fun ball game that can be played by anyone, from beginner to advanced. Fun guaranteed.  An ideal way for volleyball teams to continue training outside the season in a fun way.

Wallyball is played with three players on one side, but there are variations of two by two, or four by four.

The ideal way to enjoy sports during the winter (and summer) with friends.
